Deciding On Your Scooter
The first step in deciding on the perfect scooter for your child is to determine which type of scooter you would like.
We have a range of 3-wheel and 2-wheel scooters.
Three Wheel Scooters
Three wheel scooters are lean-to-steer, so your child scoots with their feet like normal but lean their handlebars to change direction.
We carry RGS-1, RGS-2, and RGS-3 three wheeled scooters, so any child can enjoy them. These scooters are great because they grow with your child with lots of height options. They are also super safe due to the lean to steer system instead of bike-style steering, so kids as young as 5 can ride safely. As well as this, they come in 6 fun colours!
While this style of scooter may be considered as a product for very young kids, this is not the case! The third wheel is not a safety wheel, it just offers a different riding experience! These scooters offer an experience similar to surfboarding or surfing, rather than scooting and steering.
Our three-wheelers are fully foldable and can be folded away in seconds for super easy storage, so are ideal for being on the go!
Two Wheel Scooters
It’s a classic for a reason.
We have two vastly different 2-wheelers. The first is by 3Style, and is in the style we all know and love. This can be ridden by anyone tall enough, and can also be used as a stunt scooter!
Whether your child is an intermediate rider or is keen to develop their stunting skills, this scooter is perfect for them! It is also built with strength and resilience in mind, so has a very sturdy build for thousands of miles of fun.
Our Swifty two wheel scooter looks quite different. With large, 12 inch tyres that are classic to the Swifty brand, fun colour options, and a high quality frame, you are certain to get lasting fun out of this product! The large wheels mean that this scooter can be ridden on many terrains and will deliver a super smooth ride.
Kids Scooters FAQs
There are a few things to consider before deciding which is the best scooter for your little one.
First, the height of your child is key. You need a scooter that will last, so be sure to double-check our product specifications to ensure the scooter you are looking at is the perfect one!
Next, consider the type of terrain they will be riding on. Rougher terrains are harder to scoot on, so larger wheels or a two-wheel scooter may be a better option for this, whereas a three-wheeled scooter may be more appropriate if you are predominantly riding on pavements and flat surfaces.
If a child can walk, they can scoot. This means that kids as young as 2 are able to ride if you give them the opportunity!
Our smallest scooter is appropriate for kids 5 and up, as the height of the adjustable handlebars ensures their safety and stability when riding.
